A POPULAR music festival has been suddenly axed due to “unforeseen circumstances” – with families left in limbo.
On Thursday, ticket holders were told via email the planned live music would not be going ahead – then hours later the whole thing was cancelled.

The Balloons and Tunes Festival East Anglia, also known as the Monster Country Festival, was set to take over the Norfolk Showground for days next week.
On Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, the event would’ve seen the sky filled with hot air balloons as revellers packed out the site.
On Friday evening, the Norfolk Showground shared a statement on Facebook stating: “We regret to inform you that Balloons & Tunes East Anglia, also known as the Monster Country Festival, will no longer be taking place at the Norfolk Showground on 13th and 14th September.
“If you have already purchased tickets for this event, please contact Skiddle to arrange a refund.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
