KATIE Price’s kids Princess and Junior have reacted to her surprise number one single on the iTunes chart.
Yesterday, Katie, 47, realised a dream when her track, I Got U, topped the iTunes chart, beating names such as Ed Sheeran and Olivia Dean.

Her two children with pop star Peter Andre have now shared their pride at the achievement on Instagram.
Princess, 18, shared a grab of the chart and wrote, “well done mum [clap and heart emojis]”, while Junior, 20, did the same with laughing emojis hinting at his surprise.
The support from her eldest daughter follows a recent frosty period when Katie accused those behind Princess’s ITV docuseries, The Princess Diaries, of banning her from the set.
But in recent weeks, it appears the pair’s relationship is back on track and they were seen last week enjoying a film at the cinema together, along with Katie’s boyfriend JJ Slater.
At the same time, Katie is locked in a legal battle with all three of her ex-husbands.
Kieran Hayler, 38, and Alex Reid, 50, are said to be consulting lawyers in a bid to stop her explosive Sky documentary airing next year.
While first hubby Peter, 51, accused her of making “baseless accusations“ against him, and claimed their children Princess and Junior have been in his care since 2018 ‘for their safety.’
Katie’s chart surge is all the more surprising considering I Got You was first released in 2017, while Hurricane, which is sitting at number six, came out in 2019.
Yesterday, Katie’s rep was first to tell us: “This is a massive surprise for Kate, she’s always loved singing, and this is a dream come true!
“She is having so much support from the public and can’t thank them enough for her latest entrance into the charts.”
She then took to her Instagram Stories to issue another message of thanks direct to fans.
Katie re-posted screen grabs of their congratulations messages and gushed: “Thank you to everyone my dreams have come true.”
She then joked: “Well, for once I’m speechless!
“Thank you so much!”
Back in November last year, Katie took to the stage at a drag queen contest to belt out I Got U.
Earlier this year, she delighted fans as she stormed on the stage of an awards show to showcase her vocal talents – despite not scooping a gong herself.
Released in June 2017, I Got U marked her second attempt at a pop career and reached number five in the charts.
It came a decade after she teamed up with her Mysterious Girl singer ex Peter in 2006 for their duet, A Whole New World, with profits going to charity.

Back in May, Katie told of her new plans to try and make it as a pop star.
She said she has a new album in the works along with a tour next year.
Taking to her TikTok, Katie said: “Music, I’ve got my album coming out, I’m going up and down the country doing my normal gigs and next year, I haven’t released the dates yet, I’m touring up and down the country.
“It’s going to be called Katie Price’s big bangers, where I do a lot of old school covers and my own material as well,
“You’ll have to watch.”
