A MAJOR retailer has revealed a shock closure of all stores across the UK today.
Cosmetics chain Lush has announced that all of each of its UK stores are closed today, with its website also shut down temporarily.
The move, the retailer has said, is in a bid to raise awareness of the ongoing conflict is Gaza.
Lush, which is famous for its bath bombs and shower gels, has over 102 locations across the UK.
It has a number of sites in popular shopping districts such as Oxford Street.
The chain also has a number of sites in busy train stations such as Waterloo.
In a statement posted on its website the group said it “stood in solidarity”.
“This will take the form of halting business-as-usual by shutting our UK shops, website and factories for one day on Wednesday 3rd September 2025, with our shop windows displaying the message “
“STOP STARVING GAZA – WE ARE CLOSED IN SOLIDARITY”.
