RYAN Thomas defended his daughter Scarlett after she revealed she didn’t take any GCSEs.

The Waterloo Road star, 16, told her followers on Thursday that she wouldn’t be picking up her results as she didn’t sit any exams.

The Coronation Street star hit back after Scarlett’s revelation divided fans[/caption]

In a short video posted, Scarlett posed in front of a camera, showing a close up of her immaculate makeup.

She captioned it: “I’m watching everyone get their GCSE results today, wondering if I could’ve had good results but I will forever wonder.”

Some fans were left divided and said the youngster should have done her GCSE’s regardless of her blossoming acting career.

But now her Coronation Street star father has hit back and wrote in the comments: “Is it even anyone’s business or concern though?”

Her mum is also Corrie soap actress Tina O’Brien.

Following her post, some fans believed it was either a poor decision for Scarlett not to have GCSE’s under her belt.

“Nepo baby didn’t do them ’cause she thinks she’s gonna be a big superstar,” one said.

Scarlett was introduced to the screen from a young age.

She’s previously been forced to defend herself after being slammed as a nepo-baby and only being famous because of her parents.

One follower: ‘You only got those opportunities because of your family.’

Scarlett fired back: “God forbid a girl takes the chances she gets.”

It comes after Scarlett, who has previously been described as the ‘ultimate soap nepo baby’, could be on track to make at least £2million before she’s even 18.

Not only has Scarlett been branded a “real life Disney princess” by her famous uncle Scott Thomas, but the youngster, who was just 14 when she landed her role in Waterloo Road, is sure to receive yet more “fabulous opportunities”, just like her cousin Teddy, 10.

An industry expert said: “It’s clear they’re a close-knit family who understand how to use social media effectively to build their careers. They capitalise on TikTok trends, and each member is talented in their own right.

“From a PR perspective, the family TikTok videos are an excellent platform for displaying the family’s talent to a huge audience.

“Teddy is clearly talented, and it seems the children in the family will follow in their fathers’ footsteps. Scarlett often appears in videos with her dad and uncles, showcasing her singing and acting skills.

“With both parents in TV, their talent has clearly rubbed off on Scarlett. She comes across as a confident and likeable girl who is close to her family.

“The Thomas family videos are strategically leveraging each other’s personalities and showcasing their talents to millions daily.”

When she hit 16, Scarlett launched her own TikTok account and Instagram.

She regularly posted videos for her fans – getting millions of likes each time and in recent months has started roping in her famous family.

A video of her greeting Scott after he appeared on Love Island for the second time ended up getting three million likes.

The Thomas Family even have their own social media account – which features all the brothers – Adam, Scott and Ryan as well as their spouses including former Towie star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
