And she took to TikTok to share a video where she told fans she wasn’t getting her results as she hadn’t done her GCSE’s.
She took a moment to ponder what her results day could have looked like if she sat exams like others her age.
In a short video posted to Scarlett’s TikTok yesterday, the young stunner posed in front of a camera, showing a close up of her immaculate makeup.
Over the top of the clip set to music, Scarlett put some simple lines of POV text, reading: “Watching everyone get their GCSE results today wondering if I could’ve had good results but I will forever wonder.”
The video’s caption was one of encouragement, congratulating viewers.
“Well done everyone you all should be beyond proud whatever results you got,” followed by two red heart emojis.
As the daughter of famous British TV actor Ryan Thomas, 41, and TV personality and model Lucy Mecklenburgh, 33, Scarlett was introduced to the screen from a young age.
Watching her father star in huge shows including Coronation Street and Neighbours, her mother shine on reality TV, and then going on to perform in hit titles herself has solidified her career despite skipping high school education.
Many followers of the actress felt confused hearing how Scarlett didn’t sit her GCSE exams.
“Why didn’t you do your GCSE’s?,” and “Why did you not get them?” asked two commenters.
Though others spoke more strongly taking a side, believing it was either a poor decision for Scarlett not to have GCSE’s under her belt or that she was already doing amazing without those “pieces of paper”.
“Nepo baby didn’t do them ’cause she thinks she’s gonna be a big superstar,” said one.
Whereas others said: “Proud of you anyways no matter what, you are so talented and doing amazing things already. You are going to go so far,” and “You don’t need a piece of paper to determine your future anyway Scar, it’s your own choice what you do with your life and how successful you want to be.”
It’s uncertain whether Scarlett will sit her GCSE’s in the future but her saying “but I will forever wonder” indicates it isn’t in her current plans looking forward.
