SALISBURY races has been cancelled with the venue ‘unfit for racing’ after a deluge of rain.
The Group 3 Dick Poole Fillies’ Stakes was due to be the feature contest tomorrow.

But bosses have been left with no choice but to pull the plug on the action after consistent downpours.
The Wiltshire track suffered a further 17mm of rain overnight in addition to 10mm yesterday and 30mm from last Wednesday.
It is pretty much a year to the day since racing was last abandoned at Salisbury.
On September 5 last year the action was canned just an hour before the first race.
