A SAVVY mother has shared five simple ways she uses ChatGPT to make her life easier.
Not only does Paige Elles save herself “hours a week” with her handy hacks, but she also uses the platform to “reduce her mental load” too.
So if you’re a busy mum and want to save yourself time and faff, then you’ll need to listen up and you won’t want to miss this.
Posting on social media, the content creator revealed the five ways she uses ChatGPT that many “probably haven’t thought” of.
Summarising books
First things first, with a hectic lifestyle and barely any time to read, Paige acknowledged that she uses ChatGPT to summarise parenting books.
Since having children, Paige inserts book titles into the app and asks it to share a breakdown of all of the relevant information, without her having to spend hours flicking through pages.
Creating an optimal wardrobe
As well as this, Paige acknowledged how she uses ChatGPT when her little ones grow out of their clothes without getting the chance to wear lots of items in their wardrobe.
In a bid to stop overspending, she expressed how she uses ChatGPT to “design the perfect wardrobe.”
The influencer expressed that she asks the platform: ‘Create the optimal wardrobe for my baby who will be in size [9-12 month] clothes from the start of next month – consider typical local weather in [add area] and our usual weekly activity levels and schedule.’
Automating mundane tasks
Not only this, but this mother also uses ChatGPT to give her inspiration on ways she can make boring admin tasks a bit more straightforward.
She urged other parents to “harness the power of automating mundane tasks in your life” and recognised that she asks ChatGPT to “suggest ways I can automate tasks to take the burden off me.”
Focusing on yourself
Additionally, Paige also uses ChatGPT for inspiration on how she can focus on herself without spending any extra money each month.
She asks the platform to act as her “personal trainer” and share a “perfect workout routine” that doesn’t require a gym membership and suits her activity levels, available time, usual routines and goals.
Sourcing tradesmen
Finally, Paige, who is no longer “burnt out” since using AI, shone a light on her “genius” ChatGPT trick that busy mums should try.
The dangers of using AI Chatbots
Artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots have become increasingly prevalent in our daily lives, assisting with everything from customer service to personal tasks. However, concerns about safety and privacy have arisen due to the extensive data these chatbots collect and process. Users may not always be aware of the information they are sharing, which can include sensitive personal details.
One of the primary concerns is that conversations with AI chatbots are often stored and analysed to improve the service. This data can potentially be accessed by third parties, raising fears about unauthorised use and breaches of privacy. Additionally, the data might be used to create highly personalised profiles of users, which can then be exploited for targeted advertising or other purposes.
Experts suggest several measures to mitigate these risks, such as being cautious about the information shared with chatbots and understanding the privacy policies of the services used. It is also recommended to regularly review and manage privacy settings and to be aware of the potential for data breaches. As AI technology continues to evolve, ongoing vigilance and updated regulations will be essential to ensure the safety and privacy of users.
Instead of spending ages searching through Google for professionals to fix things in her pad, she uses ChatGPT to “source local tradesmen” to “solve needs around the house without lifting a finger.”
As well as asking the platform to find local tradesmen in her area, she also asks the platform to draft email to obtain quotes and ask for availability.
