Fans have been posting images of menu prices across Reading 25, including the main bars as well as a guest area.
While concertgoers were “absolutely disgusted” at the prices at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds doesn’t appear to be as controversial.
Pints of draught cider and beer will cost festivalgoers from £6.75, slightly up from last year’s £6.50 for a Carlsberg.
Meanwhile, a standard shot of a spirit with a mixer will set punters back from £8 to £8.50.
Casa Amigos Blanco Tequila is the only liquor which will hurt wallets significantly more at £12 a pop.
And for ready to drink 250ml cans of spirit and mixer, attendees will have to fork over £8.50 to £9.
Jägermeister drinks available in shot, cold brew, mule, and bomb forms, with prices ranging from £7 to £10.20.
White Claws are on sale for £7.20 each while a glass of wine is selling for £8.
And if you want to purchase an entire bottle of red or white, it will cost you a whopping £29.50.
Most drinks are available at both the main bars and restricted guest areas, with the exception of Brooklyn Pilsner and Brooklyn The Stonewall Inn IPA, which are only sold at the guest bar for £6.90 and £7.30.
Compared to last year, prices have gone up from 20p to 40p on average.
Although organisers do advise festivalgoers to bring their own reusable bottle for water, the bars offer water for £2.60.
And non-alcoholic fizzy drinks are available from £2.95.
While booze prices may be deemed steep, they are still marginally cheaper than many venues in London where pints are often in excess of £7.
Reading and Leeds Festivals kicked off on Thursday, 21 August, with acts performing throughout the weekend.
