THIS is the moment a car travelling at high speed was catapulted into the air, clipped a pillar of an unfinished bridge and exploded into a fireball.
The terrifying crash – captured on CCTV – happened in Russia in the early hours of Sunday.

CCTV footage shows the vehicle racing along what looked like a normal stretch of road before it suddenly vanished into mud at the construction site.
The car was launched into the air, clipped the top of a support pillar, caught fire, and then fell into the river below.
Miraculously, the driver survived after the water put out the flames and gave him a soft landing.
Bridge workers said they were woken by a loud bang in the early hours.
They later found tyre marks, a bumper, and a licence plate left behind at the scene.
The driver was taken to hospital following the dramatic incident at the Bystry Tanyp River in Bashkiria, according to local reports.
It comes after another miracle survival case in Russia involving an 80-year-old gran who plunged from the sixth floor of a building and crash landed on a car.
CCTV footage showed the gran falling 6 floors and crashing into a Hyundai hatchback with immense force.
She was reportedly cleaning the windows in her apartment when she suddenly lost balance and plummeted from the building.
Shockingly, she appeared unhurt as she was seen getting up moments after the fall and asking for help.
The superhuman gran survived the huge fall and walked normally as if nothing had happened.
The owner of the Hyundai told E1.RU: “I saw her lying on my car from the window. They said it was a neighbour from the sixth floor.
“I have lived in this house for 12 years, I have never seen her before, and I do not know these neighbours.”
An official said: “During the investigation, it was established that the elderly woman could have fallen out of the window due to her own carelessness.”
In another case, a newly-wed beauty queen tragically died following a horror car crash after an elk smashed into her windscreen.
Russian model Ksenia Alexandrova, 30, was rushed to hospital after the freak accident – but succumbed to her severe injuries this week.
The fatal crash occurred five weeks ago – leaving her fighting for her life at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute in Moscow.
Ksenia was a passenger in the Porsche when the vehicle suddenly collided with the animal.
She was a runner up in the Miss Russia pageant in 2017, representing Moscow.
The beloved model was also a Miss Universe contestant in the same year.
