SKINCARE routines don’t have to break the bank.
In fact, savvy beauty fans are discovering that some of the most effective products can be found on the high street.
Shoppers are racing to B&M to get their hands on a cheap beauty buy[/caption]
The latest must-have item creating a buzz among bargain-hunters is a moisturiser from B&M that is flying off the shelves.
The product at the centre of the online frenzy is the Skin Techniques Vitamin C Moisturiser.
Beauty fans have been praising it online for its fantastic results and unbelievable price point of just £2.26.
The excitement was sparked by TikTok creator @famirxx, who shared their incredible find with followers.
Other TikTok accounts have also given their review from the brand explaining that their eye patches are “the best.”
The product is said to “revitalise your eyes” with the “luxurious eye patches” that are designed to hydrate and plump the under eye area and support skin elasticity.
The appeal of this moisturiser lies in its star ingredient, Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant known for its anti-ageing properties.
It helps to nourish and brighten the skin, working to improve its overall appearance and give a more radiant and revitalised complexion.
With its ability to make skin feel “incredible” and its anti-ageing benefits, it’s no wonder that this affordable find has become a staple in many skincare routines.
And it’s not just skincare that shoppers are racing to B&M for.
A professional cleaner shared her top tips for a fresh-smelling home, revealing that her first secret is a bargain find from B&M.
TikTok creator @berryclean2, from South Wales, raved about B&M’s Restore oil, which comes in a pack of two for £1.75.
She says the oil, which features notes of sandalwood, cedar, and cardamom, is perfect to add to diffusers for an instant mood boost.
The cleaner likened the scent to luxury brand Jo Malone, telling viewers that it “gives Jo Malone vibes” for a fraction of the price.
Obsessed
“Literally is so strong,” she wrote, adding, “I’m obsessed with my diffuser over candles lately.”
Beyond the B&M oil, her other tips focus on simple, everyday habits.
She advises that you should wash your tea towels every single day, explaining that you can spray as much air freshener as you like, but “things like these HOLD onto odours.”
Another job you should do every day is soak your bin lids with a disinfectant like Zoflora or Asevi.
Sooo much food, bacteria & odour build up under these things

She says this simple task gets rid of food odours from the night before and helps you wake up to a “lush smell.”
For an extra boost, she suggests adding a few drops of fragranced oil to a piece of kitchen towel and placing it at the bottom of the bin.

She also advises a daily scrub of the sink under the washing up bowl, as she says “sooo much food, bacteria & odour build up under these things.”
She claims it only takes “two seconds” to do.
Finally, she stresses the importance of simply opening your windows for at least 10 minutes a day.
“Whatever time of day, get that fresh air in,” she wrote, emphasising that it’s a simple way to improve the smell of your home.
Most important skincare advice
Faye Purcell, Head of Research & Development at Q+A Skincare shared her knowledge with Fabulous.
What skincare advice would you like everyone to know/follow?
Can I give two! Firstly, wear SPF daily and secondly, double cleanse! Wearing SPF daily, even on cloudy days and during the winter months, is one of the most important things you can do for your skin.
Double cleansing is one of the most effective (and often overlooked) ways to upgrade your skincare routine – especially if you wear sunscreen, makeup, or live in a busy polluted city. I’d suggest an evening double cleanse for best results.
What is a big skincare myth?
Luxury doesn’t mean more effective. You absolutely do not need to spend a fortune on skincare to get great results and Q+A is the perfect example of this. Many affordable products use the same active ingredients as luxury brands like hyaluronic acid, retinol, vitamin C, peptides, or salicylic acid – we use these in lots of our face and body products. A smart, consistent routine with well-formulated products – regardless of price – is what truly delivers results.
If someone is new to skincare, what’s one product you’d recommend them and why?
A moisturiser with SPF. Moisturising daily is an essential for all skin types and can make a perceivable difference to the appearance of the skin quickly. As SPF is also essential, combining these two steps can build good habits quickly and prevent skin cancer. Not only is SPF essential for protecting the skin from sun damage/skin cancer but also helps keep premature ageing at bay e.g. wrinkles/pigmentation.
Q+A have three excellent facial SPF50s (£15 each) – Peptide Anti-Ageing SPF50, Niacinamide Balancing SPF50 and Squalane Hydrating SPF50, that are available from Sephora and Holland & Barrett.
What is Q+A’s number one best seller?
Our Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum. It’s our number one best-seller one is sold every 90 seconds!
When it comes to the body, it’s the Q+A Salicylic Acid Body Wash – we sell one every two minutes.
Q+A is available from Sephora, Holland & Barrett, selected Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose stores and qandaskin.com.
