Bath and shower products are always great stocking fillers, but with the cost of living crisis continuing to bite, posh brands like Lush are unaffordable for many.

Lidl is constantly wowing shoppers with its incredible range of dupes, and the supermarket is now selling shower gel that looks almost identical to a Lush product – for a fraction of the price.

The Deluxe Lavish Shower Gel comes in two gorgeous fragrances; Relax, which is lavender scented and Dizzy Rose which comes in a strawberry scent.

Lidl Plus shoppers can snap up the 500ml bottle for £1.59, a saving of 20%.

For shoppers who don’t have Lidl Plus, the shower gel is priced at £1.99.

Lush’s sleepy shower gel, which comes in a “deeply relaxing lavender” scent will set you back £27 for a 520g bottle, making the Lidl buy a whopping £25.41 cheaper.

Spotting the dupes in her local Lidl store, one bargain lover posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group: “Lush dupe in Lidl.”

Both the Relax and Dizzy Rose gel are featured in the image attached to the post, but shoppers in the comments section pointed out that a variety of other scents are also on offer.

One shopper said: “The winter fairy one is amazing.

“It smells just like Snow Fairy.”

A second person said: “I’ve got the honey one at home. It’s so nice.”

More Lidl dupes

The shower gels aren’t the only dupes Lidl is currently selling.

The German discounter bringing back its much-loved designer dupe kitchenware and shoppers can snap it up for a fraction of the price.

The supermarket giant is flogging 1.35L cast iron casserole dishes for just £13.49 each, compared with a whopping £209 for the same size from posh brand Le Creuset.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.

Available in bold orange, deep red and sleek black, the budget-friendly cookware doesn’t just look good, it’s made for serious cooking.

The dishes feature a durable enamel coating inside and out, are oven-safe up to 240°C, and can be used on all hob types including induction.

They also come with a clever drop-system lid to lock in flavour, making them perfect for everything from juicy roasts to hearty stews.

For bigger family meals, the larger 4.7L version costs just £26.99.

Plus Lidl Plus members can get an extra 10% off.

A similar sized Le Creuset dish would set shoppers back £305, meaning a massive saving of more than £270.
