The actor has reprised his role as detective Benoit Blanc in the third instalment to the Knives Out film franchise.
The new film titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery also features Cailee Spaeny, Jeremy Renner and Daryl McCormack.
Although he wasn’t in Bond’s trademark tuxedo, Daniel still looked dapper in a blue t-shirt, black jacket and denim rolled up jeans.
He showed off her silver swept back hair at the annual event, which is one of the most prestigious and largest publicly attended film festivals in the world.
Ted actress Mila, 42, was even seen attempting to rearrange his hair during the interview, with her hand raised close to his head.
The American mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson is a standalone sequel to Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
In January, Netflix has released the first official image from the highly anticipated third film, giving us a glimpse at Daniel’s latest outing as the Southern sleuth.
The image shows Benoit standing in a dimly lit church, deep in conversation with a new character played by Josh O’Connor.
Netflix has remained tight-lipped about the film’s plot, only teasing that Blanc will once again find himself surrounded by a new cast of suspects as he unravels “his most dangerous case yet.”
The streamer has also hinted that the film’s mystery could be linked to the coffin that features prominently in the film’s teaser trailer.
Following the success of 2019’s Knives Out and 2022’s Glass Onion, Rian Johnson has continued to build his modern whodunit franchise.
The director has spoken about how fortunate he has been to work with such talented stars, saying: “We’ve been very lucky with each of these movies to have gathered some of my favorite actors on the planet.”.
While Daniel continues to enjoy success in his detective role, a British actor is set to step into his shoes as the new James Bond.
Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 35, is in the running to be the next 007 spy.
Aaron is a firm favourite to be stepping into Bond‘s shoes, with market favourite odds of 11/8.
Recently, Aaron dropped a huge hint he’d bagged the iconic movie role.
The Marvel movie star, 34, has signed a deal with Omega – the brand of watch the 007 spy wears.
Omega has been supplying timepieces to the iconic literary and movie character since the release of 1995 flick, Golden Eye.
Aaron has joined the firm’s roster of global ambassadors, with a promotional image showing the Kick-Ass and Avengers movie star staring into a cabinet filled with the classy wrist-watches.
The Sun exclusively told how Aaron had been formally offered the role of the Brit spy last year.
This came after we first reported the Marvel movie star had emerged as a surprise frontrunner three years ago.
In 2022, The Sun revealed that Aaron was in the running for the job after secretly screen testing for Bond movie supremo Barbara Broccoli at Pinewood Studios.
A source previously told us: “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it.”
Recently, we reported how “die hard” James Bond fan Denis Villeneuve had been appointed director ahead of the new movie.
