London Stansted, Manchester, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle will all get the new flights.

According to Travel Weekly, the airline will operate daily flights between Antalya and London Stansted and weekly flights to the other UK airports.

Whilst a number of other airlines including Jet2, TUI, easyJet and Wizz Air operate flights from some of these airports to Antalya, Corendon is another budget alternative.

The additional flights could help to make prices lower for fares between the UK and Antalya, as there will be increased competition between airlines and additional capacity.

If you want to head to the city sooner rather than later, you could jet off with Corendon from Manchester Airport on September 3 for £50.40 one-way.

Or jet off from London Stansted on September 5, from £37.58 each way.

Antalya is known for being a cheap holiday spot, with The Times naming the destination the Mediterranean’s best and most affordable seaside city back in March.

Brits heading to the city can expect to find a beer for around 160 to 185 Turkish lira (£2.90 to £3.36).

And a mid-range, three-course restaurant meal won’t set you back much either, costing about 1,860 Turkish lira (£33.75) for two people.

Caffeine addicts will be pleased to hear coffee is cheap as well, ranging from 65 to 220 Turkish lira (£1.18 to £3.99) for a cappuccino.

The city itself is littered with historical ruins and bustling mosques to explore, including Yivliminare Cami – a 13th century mosque with ornate towers that now appear in several spots across Antalya’s skyline.

The city and region more widely is also known for its stunning golden sand beaches, with crystal clear waters, earning the region’s title of ‘Turquoise Coast’.

At Lara Beach, tourists can explore a long stretch of soft sand just east of the city centre, with shallow waters and the popular Düden Waterfalls, a pair of falls that cascade over a dramatic rockface, nearby.

There is also Konyaaltı Beach, to the west of the city, featuring rounded pebbles and mountain views.

Mixing history with the sea, head to Phaselis Beach where visitors can swim through ancient ruins.

If you want to see and experience more of the city’s history, head to Kaleici, which is home to an intricate maze of cobbled alleyways, with shady courtyards boasting ornate Ottoman buildings.

The crescent-shaped Old Harbour is a top spot as well, with yachts coming and going and top-rated restaurant Leyla Meyhanesi, serving dishes such as freshly barbecued sea bass for 350 Turkish lira (£6.35).

The city is home to a myriad of different accommodation types including hotels, resorts and holiday homes.

You could head to Concorde De Luxe Resort home to a private beach and four pools and recently named the best-value stay in the city on TripAdvisor, with all-inclusive packages with TUI from £179 per person.

If you don’t mind splashing the cash, you could opt for the luxurious Bayou Villas, noted by Conde Nast Traveller for its “sleek design, serene vibes, and all the privacy an A-lister escaping the paps could want”.

Each villa comes with its own pool and there is plenty of space for little ones to run around and explore the private garden play areas – costing from around £2,400 per person.

Corendon Airlines is also adding regular flight connections to Heraklion in Crete.

Matthew Carpenter, the UK manager for Corendon Airlines, said: “In the 2026 summer flight schedule, we are concentrating on our core routes and consistently pursuing our growth strategy.

“We are increasing UK flights, focusing on our core bases in Greece and Turkey and increasing the frequency of flights from some of our current UK departure points,” reports Travel Weekly.

Inside one of Antalya’s five-star resorts

A SUN reporter recently stayed at the Titanic Deluxe Lara in Antalya, Turkey – here’s what they thought…

Located on the glittering Mediterranean coast, the Titanic Deluxe Lara is a sprawling five-star resort, part of Jet2’s family collection of hotels and a conveniently quick 20 to 30-minute bus transfer from Antalya airport.

Inspired by the grandeur of the famous — and fateful — cruise ship, the resort offers all the luxury touches you would expect, but still keeps things super relaxed.

The main pool extends out impressively from the bow of the ship-shaped hotel, creating a beautiful centrepiece to the resort.

What truly sets the Titanic Deluxe apart from its competitors is its stunning 350m private stretch of Lara Beach, featuring a newly renovated pier that is much more luxurious than others in the area.

The huge main buffet restaurant had a great mix of Turkish specialities, Mediterranean favourites and kid-friendly meals like pasta and chicken nuggets.

Afterwards, guests who aren’t ready to call it a night can head to one of the live shows taking place every night in the outdoor amphitheatre.

The Kikoa Kids’ Club is the largest in the region and offers a wide range of activities, from art and music lessons to games like archery and speed ball for the teenagers.”

Turkey is also home to a sprawling TUI resort where kids are never bored.
