‘Speed, power and football IQ’ – Benjamin Sesko can be a complete striker for Man Utd, says Slovenia pal

MANCHESTER UNITED have been told they will have a “complete” striker in Benjamin Sesko — but they must stay patient.

The £74million arrival from RB Leipzig is yet to get off the mark since arriving in England.

But the striker has been backed to come good at Old Trafford[/caption]

But the 22-year-old was back on top form for Slovenia on Friday as he flicked on for Zan Vipotnik to score and earn a late 2-2 draw against Sweden.

And his national strike partner Andraz Sporar, 31, has backed Sesko to enjoy many memorable nights at Old Trafford.

Slovan Bratislava ace Sporar said: “What does he bring to United Everything. He has speed,  power, intelligence, good football IQ.

“I believe he can be a complete striker in the next two or three years.

“But he’s still young. He will help Manchester United a lot, they just need to be patient.

“I believe he’ll score the goals and every year he will be better and better.”

Sporar helped shock United in the FA Cup during a loan spell at Middlesbrough in 2022.

The striker says that shootout win over is his career highlight.

He said: “It’s tough to beat that. Manchester United at Old Trafford, in the FA Cup, penalties and Cristiano Ronaldo missing one in the game.

But Sporar hopes Sesko can help him top that by firing Slovenia to just a third  World Cup appearance next summer.

They travel to Switzerland in Group B on Monday.

Sporar added: “It’s the absolute dream of every player to reach a World Cup.”
