In a deleted tweet, the 34-year-old said: “How do all these celebrities have loads of money? You don’t get bundles of dough for TV or adverts etc (well I don’t)….
“But I look on Instagram and they’re always in this gaff or posting in a new motor.
“I finished me Strictly stuff earlier today and I’m now out in me van delivering mattresses. Do I need to be part of a special club now on the tele that’s gives ya unlimited monies.”
The usually upbeat dad-of-three, who is also known for his ‘bosh’ catchphrase, faced a backlash from some Strictly fans when he was announced as one of this year’s contestants.
FAN BACKLASH
He came under fire for a conviction for handling stolen goods in 2011 as well as having a selfie with Donald Trump’s Vice President, J.D Vance, on his recent visit to the UK.
Thomas addressed the fury head on and wrote on X: “Yes I did get arrested when I was younger, in fact I got arrested several times.
“And been charged and paid the price for my convictions. I wrote a book about it.”
And defending his picture with Vance at a barbecue in the Cotswolds, he wrote: “I’m not right wing.
“People are like sheep and just started saying it because I got invited to go to bbq with JD Vance and I posted a picture with him.
“Who is gonna turn down an opportunity to meet the 2nd most powerful man in the world?”
He’ll be joined on the dancefloor this September by celebs including Vicky Pattison, YouTuber George Clarke and Dani Dyer as part of the 2025 line up.
SHOW REVEAL
Back in August, Thomas “gave away” his Strictly spot.
The Sun exclusively revealed the cockney entrepreneur had joined the dance contest back in May.
Tom was finally announced as the latest Strictly signing on Hits Radio and he said: “It’s my mum’s favourite show, I’m going to be putting on the outfits and trying my best.”
