SHOPPERS are going wild after a £39 barbecue was spotted scanning for just 34p in Asda’s mega summer sale.
One eagle-eyed bargain hunter shared the jaw-dropping find on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

She posted: “Bargain of the day was the 34p BBQ instead of £39 like priced.”
The grill is listed on Asda‘s website for £39 but currently shows as out of stock, meaning you might only be able to find this bargains in stores.
Alongside the barbecue, she filled her trolley with garden and summer must-haves at rock-bottom prices.
The haul included lawn moss killer treatment for 98p, GroSure lawn seeds for 10p, Evergreen Complete 4in1 for £1.43, a grill topper for 68p and solar garden lights for only 23p.
She also landed some massive savings on kids toys, purchasing a bubble toy gun for 38p, colourful cutlery for just 16p, a paddling pool for 48p, a water bottle for 16p and a Minecraft Lego set for £2.25,
Other shoppers quickly chimed in to show off their own mega savings.
One said: “I got some from there as well this afternoon!! Sleeping bags £1.78, double airbeds £1.58, foot pumps 68p plus more! Ideal for my family members who regularly camp.”
Another added: “Wow great finds and amazing bargains at Asda”.
The discounts are part of Asda’s huge end-of-summer clear-out, with prices being slashed across outdoor toys, camping gear and garden essentials.
One shopper in Nottingham bagged a Disney-themed paddling pool for just £3.60, reduced from £14.47, while another picked up a sand and water table for £2.48 – a fraction of its original price.
And the bargains don’t stop there.
Asda has also been shifting big-ticket items for peanuts.
Shoppers revealed the supermarket had slashed the price of its Sportspower 10FT Quad Lok Trampoline from £149 down to just £30 in a local clearance.
The trampoline, which boasts a galvanised steel frame, padded poles and an internal safety net, was being flogged online for £129 before the reductions.
But in some stores, lucky punters picked one up for less than a takeaway.
With deals like these, stock is flying fast and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Savvy shopper Eilish Stout-Cairns recommends that shoppers grab items from Asda’s Just Essentials range.
She said: “Asda’s budget range is easy to spot as it’s bright yellow! Keep your eyes peeled for yellow and you’ll find their Just Essentials range.
“It’s great value and I’ve found it has a much wider selection of budget items compared to other supermarkets.
Sign up to Asda Rewards
The savvy-saver also presses on the importance of signing up to Asda’s reward scheme.
She said: “Asda Rewards is free to join and if you shop at Asda you should absolutely sign up.
“As an Asda Rewards member, you’ll get exclusive discounts and offers, and you’ll also be able to earn 10% cashback on Star Products.
“This will go straight into your cashpot, and once you’ve earned at least £1, you can transfer the money in your cashpot into ASDA vouchers.

Look out for booze deals
Eilish always suggests that shoppers looking to buy booze look out for bargain deals.
She said: “Asda often has an alcohol offer on: buy six bottles and save 25%.
“The offer includes selected bottles with red, white and rose options, as well as prosecco. There are usually lots of popular bottles included, for example, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C.
“Obviously, the more expensive the bottles you choose, the more you save.”
Join Facebook groups
The savvy saver also recommends that fans of Asda join Facebook groups to keep in the know about the latest bargains in-store.
Eilish said: “I recommend joining the Latest Deals Facebook Group to find out about the latest deals and new launches in store.
“Every day, more than 250,000 deal hunters share their latest bargain finds and new releases.
“For example, recently a member shared a picture of Asda’s new Barbie range spotted in store.
“Another member shared the bargain outdoor plants she picked up, including roses for 47p, blackcurrant bushes for 14p and topiary trees for 14p.”
Summer bargains
And Asda isn’t the only retailer offering massive savings this summer.
Savvy shoppers can nab up to 50% off outdoor furniture in the Argos clearance sale.
You can kit out your garden for the perfect outdoor hosting set-up with this lower than ever prices.
Items such as the Habitat June 3 Seater Rattan Effect Garden Sofa Set have been slashed to just half the price.
Argos customers can now pick up the set for just £290, marked down from £580.
Or if you’re planning to have a larger crowd over for a summer barbeque, the Habitat Santorini 6 Seater Rattan Effect Garden Sofa Set is also on offer.
