The Legends Charity Game: Date, CONFIRMED teams, kick-off time and live stream as Portugal face World XI


THE Legends Charity Game will take place this month at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.

This year’s edition marks the start of the series, with the match scheduled to be held at Sporting‘s home annually until 2030, when Portugal co-hosts the World Cup.

Portugal and World legends will go head-to-head in the star-studded charity match.

Luis Figo, Pepe, Nani, Deco and Ricard Carvalho are among the Portuguese legends taking part.

While the likes of John Terry, Kaka, Michael Owen, Alessandro Del Piero and Edwin van der Sar will represent the World Legends in the Portuguese capital.

When is the Legends Charity Game?

  • The Legends Charity Game will take place on Monday, September 15.
  • The match will kick off at 8pm BST.
  • The half-time show featuring Calema, will take place at 8.50pm.
  • Sporting’s Estadio Jose Alvalade will host.

How to watch the Legends Charity Game

  • The Legends Charity Game will be broadcast live on TrillerTV.
  • The stream will begin at 6pm BST, two hours before kick-off.
  • SunSport will also be running a live blog of the event.

How to donate to the Legends Charity Game

  • The organisers of the event are hoping to raise €1million for selected charities.
  • Proceeds will go towards major charities including the Ukrainian Red Cross, Portuguese Red Cross, International Alert and Caritas Portugal.
