The village is on a tidal lagoon[/caption]
It has one luxury hotel – La Sultana Oualidia[/caption]
The village gets as much as 320 days of sunshine, with highs of 27C even in October.
It is known for both its oysters, as well as its pink flamingos, but still remains off the beaten track for tourists.
National Geographic states: “The town is a warren of sleepy streets flowing down to seafood cafes and a beachside surf shack that hires out boards.”
Overlooking a beautiful tidal lagoon, it also makes it a safe place for families wanting to swim with young kids.
It is even home to Morocco‘s first royal beach – designated by then King Mohammed V in the 1940s.
He gave the pledge after building his summer palace there.
Sadly the palace is no longer there after falling into desrepair.
But if you want the royal treatment, the village is home to one luxury hotel – La Sultana Oualidia.
The sister restaurant of the famous La Sultana Marrakech, it has just 12 rooms, including a “pirate” and treehouse suite.
Otherwise guests can make the most of the outdoor heated pool and new on-site restaurant.
The hotel has its own infinity pool too[/caption]
Celebs including Shay Mitchell have stayed[/caption]
You will need to start saving however, with rooms starting from £575 a night.
Celebs including Canadian actress Shay Mitchell have even been spotted staying there, as well as Ben Fogle.
To get there, flights to Casablanca take around three hours with Royal Air Maroc.
Or you can fly to Marrakech with Ryanair, where Oualidia is then around three hours by car.
Morocco is home to some amazing beach towns that are both affordable and hot in autumn.

As Morocco’s largest seaside resort, it has huge stretches of beaches, 300 days of sunshine and 25C winters.
It was even named as one of the cheapest package holiday destinations by Which?
