THEY’RE never the most flattering of pictures.
But one woman was left baffled when she went to update her passport, and saw the image she’d been left with.
Rebekah was left baffled when she saw the picture she was given to update her passport[/caption]
This is how the picture was meant to turn out[/caption]
Rebekah took to TikTok to share her tale, as she showed what she looks like in real life, and the passport picture snap she’d been given.
“Went to update my passport photo and… I’m calling the police,” she wrote over the top of the pictures.
“I’ve been crying over this for the last hour.”
The image was entirely unrecognisable from real life – with a huge forehead and grimacing expression.
She also looked as though she didn’t have any hair.
“She printed the portrait on the wrong side,” Rebekah explained in the video caption.
“It’s been fixed, but I had to take a photo!”
She added: “I can’t believe this was my first viral video but I’m grateful you all laughed as much as I did at it!”
Predictably, the comments section was almost immediately filled with people left in “hysterics by the picture mix-up.
Among them was Specsavers, who hilariously wrote: “Expert witness here if you need one!”
“Help why did they freeze dry you?!” another commented.
“You look like you saw something you weren’t supposed to!” someone else giggled.
“I mean this in the kindest way possible, but, at first glance i thought this was a really distorted photo of Michael Jackson,” another wrote.
To which Rebekah replied: “Microwaved Jackson!”
“These comments are FRYING ME – tears are in my eyes,” someone else said.
“It’s actually scaring me!” another admitted.

While someone else said they’d woken up their baby “from laughing so hard”, another admitted they were left “hysterical” by the image.
“This is an actual crime?? Sue them right now,” someone else said.
“These are the funniest comments I’ve ever seen, holy moly,” another laughed.
“How are you going to recreate this at the airport?” someone else questioned.
To which Rebekah replied: “My biggest fear is they see the photo and let me pass!”
The pictures have gone viral since Rebekah posted them, and have reached a staggering 18 million viewers.
