THOMAS Skinner kept his head down today as he was seen for the first time since crisis talks with Strictly Come Dancing bosses after storming out of a press conference.
The Apprentice star, 34, shocked those in attendance when he was seen snatching a female journalist’s phone.
And Tom looked stony-faced when he was seen picking up essentials near Elstree TV Studios before heading to pre-record the series 2025 opener of Strictly.
Tom, who previously owned an online mattress company called Bosh Beds, cut a casual figure in a brown polo T-shirt and chino shorts.
He appeared to be trying to fly under the radar by covering up in a flat cap.
Today The sun exclusively revealed Tom’s future on Strictly following his bad behaviour at the press conference.
A source said: “Tom clearly felt stressed and wasn’t coping with the press conference.
“He acted in a very strange manner and grabbed a phone, which isn’t like him.
“After much discussion about whether he would be able to cope with the pressure of the series, it was decided that Tom was fine to stay on.
“It’s a very embarrassing incident for him and he’s made it clear he just wants to crack on.
“The BBC are backing him.”
A second source added: “Thomas will film the launch show later on today.
“After the incident yesterday he returned to rehearsals too. He is totally committed to Strictly.”
It was the first time in the show’s history that a Strictly star has not completed the press conference – which sees the contestants talking about their excitement about the show starting.
