It was revealed in May that the cockney entrepreneur had joined the dance contest[/caption]

The Sun exclusively revealed the cockney entrepreneur had joined the dance contest back in May.

Previously speaking about the show on Hits Radio, he said: “It’s my mum’s favourite show, I’m going to be putting on the outfits and trying my best.”

With the show’s start date fast approaching Tom, who is also known for his ‘bosh’ catchphrase, is kicking it up a gear when it comes to his training regime.

In a post shared to Instagram the dad-of-three is seen running and pushing a double pram uphill, with his twin daughters and eldest son riding along.

Tom only added to his hardship by wearing a 20 kg weighted vest, he captioned the post: “3 kids in the pram….20kg weighted vest on…. Up hill….in the rain….running like a steam train.

“We are taking the training for Strictly Come Dancing seriously. Doing it for the pint drinking, kebab eating dads out there with the beer belly’s. We got this. Bosh (heart emoji).”

The entrepreneur, known for his love of a classic fry-up, looks set to give it up as he gears up to get in shape for the show.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Tom said: ” Swapped the fry up for salmon and eggs this morning.”

He even shared his Strictly news with fans by tucking into his “favourite breakfast” of pie, chips and veg, captured in a cheeky video filmed at a local café.

While delivering a rousing speech about taking care of yourself and working hard, fans noticed that Tom’s alphabet potatoes spelled the word ‘Strictly’.

The star has been met with some controversy since being announced in this year’s lineup following his previous conviction for handling stolen goods in 2011.

Tom has been open about his criminal past taking to X, he wrote: “Yes I did get arrested when I was younger, in fact I get arrested several times.

“And been charged and paid the price for my convictions. I wrote a book about it.”

He was also met with backlash after taking selfie with Donald Trump’s Vice President, J.D Vance, on his recent visit to the UK defending the picture he clarified that he is “not right wing”.

Whilst many fans have hit out at the casting choice many have also defended the TV star with some hailing it a ‘superb signing’.

Tom recently hit out at other celebs who have ‘unlimited’ money while he still grafts in his delivery van.

The outspoken Apprentice star, who sells mattresses when he’s not on screen, complained about seeing other reality stars with fancy cars and houses.

In a deleted tweet, the 34-year-old said: “How do all these celebrities have loads of money? You don’t get bundles of dough for TV or adverts etc (well I don’t)….
