Tom Grennan, 30, rose to fame in 2016 when he entered the charts as a guest vocalist on Chase & Status’ track, All Goes Wrong.
His debut album entered number four in 2018 before his sophomore record, Evering Road, shot to number one in March 2021.
Two years later, his third album, What Ifs & Maybes, became his second number one on the album charts with three singles in the top 20.
The ‘Higher’ singer has become so popular, he now regularly sells out arenas and people rush to see him perform.
However, a recent concert in Birmingham saw the singer suffer a slight accident.
A video emerged which saw Tom in full flow as he performed his hit track, Lionheart on stage.
He entertained the crowds at the front of the stage as he rocked to the track with his mic stand.
However, right at the end of the song he made his way to the back of the stage where he thought he would jump onto a higher platform.
But the landing didn’t quite stick as he instead slipped on the steps and fell on his bottom right in front of the camera.
As the track came to a close, he was then seen rolling on his back as he dealt with the pain.
After a roll, he did end up on his knees where he gave two thumbs up to the lense, signalling that he was in fact unharmed.
As he finished the track, he exclaimed: “I’m not gonna lie, that really hurt!”
On TikTok, he wrote across the video: “POV: You’re about to witness the greatest onstage fall in history.”
He also captioned the clip: “A stage fall for the record books that was Birmingham.”
I’m not gonna lie, that really hurt!

This was before he reiterated in the comments: “(I’m good btw)”.
Tom seemed to take the incident well though poked fun at himself as his pals and fans expressed concern.
His collaborator Joel Corry commented: “Brooo [two anguish emoji faces],” as Tom wrote back: “Bro my back [crying with laughter face emoji].”
One fan wrote: “Let’s not be getting injured on this tour Tom,” which he replied, “Too late.”
