CRAIG David has just released his ninth album but he’s not Walking Away from dropping new music.
The Sun can reveal the Fill Me In singer has landed a huge six figure deal to become the face of Just Eat – and he’s recorded a brand new song for the ad.
Craig David’s track Every Neighbour Got Their Flava has been inspired by Just Eat’s Did Somebody Say sound.
A source said: “Craig landed the deal early this year but has been sworn to secrecy – even during his album campaign.
“Finally the cat is out of the bag and fans can see what he’s been working on.
“It’s all very tongue in cheek which is perfect for him as he’s never taken himself too seriously.”
Craig confirmed the news and told us: “With over two decades of making music, I’ve seen how diverse and vibrant our communities are, and Did Somebody Say celebrates exactly that.
“From music to takeaways and corner shops, the everyday moments that bring us all together.
“Putting a proper garage and R&B spin on the Just Eat track has been special and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Fans can get a first listen of Craig David’s garage inspired track this Friday during Channel 4’s Gogglebox.
Craig is the first ever British star to front a campaign for the takeaway brand.
Previously Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg and Christina Aguilera have all landed big money deals with the company.
