JESSICA PEGULA has beaten Barbora Krejcikova in straight sets to progress to the semi-finals of the US Open.
The 31-year-old is one of two Americans remaining in the women’s draw, with the other, Amanda Amisiova, facing Iga Swiatek in the quarter-finals later.
Pegula could potentially face World No1 Aryna Sabalenka in a blockbuster last-4 clash, should the defending champion beat Marketa Vondrousova.
