ADDING a personal touch to Vinted orders can be a great way to get good reviews and repeat customers, however, one women was left very unimpressed by the extra gifts she received.
Susana was excited to open her new shoes from Vinted, before realising the “unhinged” items that had been shoved in the box alongside them.
The seller had given her an eyeshadow pallet and some pens and pencils for free[/caption]
“When Vinted gets unhinged”, she fumed in a TikTok video.
“People are genuinely bizarre”.
The nurse pleaded with Vinted sellers never to send rogue items with their orders, before revealing how her extra gift had exploded all over the box.
The Vinted seller had decided to add a random palette of eyeshadow to the box, which had leaked all over her new shoes.
“I’m not being funny, but I would never use a random eyeshadow somebody sent me”, she raged.
“She might have had it for 10 years!”
And the makeup wasn’t the only extra Susana received, as there were also two pens and a pencil in the box.
“It looks like you’re just trying to get rid of s*** that you’ve got in your house”, she said, addressing the seller.
Susana revealed that she had contacted the seller to tell them she was unimpressed by the additions, only to be told that the seller always included “extra stuff”.
“With the state the parcel arrived in, that little half arsed apology didn’t wash”, she said.
She added that many people use Vinted to reduce their carbon footprint; therefore, they don’t want “rubbish”, sending to them.
Susana’s (@susanacp123) video has likely left many people in shock, as it has racked up over 77,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on her interesting parcel.

Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?
QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted…
- The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
- Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.
