But the discussed wedding plans just hours before their split[/caption]
They spoke about it on their joint podcast[/caption]
The former couple uploaded the latest episode of their podcast where they talked about whether they should get a cake at their hypothetical wedding.
“I don’t think we should get a wedding cake,” Millie told Liam, and added, “I think we should get a big doughnut.”
Liam agreed: “Like a big Krispy Kreme doughnut.”
Millie added that their doughnut should be stacked up to “look like a cake, but it’s way better.”
“Cake is dead,” Millie declared as Liam gave her a funny before agreeing and saying, “very nice.”
They kept riffing on ideas which included a “chocolate fountain,” before landing on “a Lotus Biscoff fountain.”
Liam said: “That would be perfect.”
The wedding cake discussion was not the only awkward chat the former couple had before going their split.
Liam and Millie also spoke about the high divorce rates.
Liam said: “The divorce rate is so high, it’s like the highest it’s ever been, so more people will be signing pre-nups.”
Millie replied: “I feel like, back in the day for our grandparents, divorces were frowned upon.
“My grandparents have been together since they were 16 and they don’t believe in divorce or breaking up.
“But my parents, they were never married, but they didn’t make it together and a lot of my friends’ parents aren’t together. We’re in a generation where people don’t last forever.”
Millie and Liam won Love Island in 2021 but split a year later before getting back together in May 2023.
