A COUPLE has caused controversy after revealing the very unique name they’ve chosen for their newborn son.
Rissa and Quan have three kids together, and previously divided opinion by calling their first two sons Shine and Saviour.
Now in a video on their TikTok page, they have announced the equally unusual moniker they’ve chosen for the newest member of their family.
Mum Rissa kept a tight hold on the newborn as she said: “Baby boy’s name is… “
Quan then held up a heart, full of pearls, which revealed the name as they fell out of the bottom.
The process was a lot slower than the pair had anticipated, but eventually showed that they’d chosen to call their son Secure Arris Roberts.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, the comments section was immediately filled with people taking aim at the pair for their name choice.
“What wrong with parents these days?” one questioned.
“Secure?? You parents in this generation really don’t get it,” another added.
“‘Secure’ is a word that describes a feeling. It’s not a name. But to each his own.”
“They be calling anything as names to kids these days!” a third sighed.
“So from Shine to Saviour and now Secure,” someone else commented.
“Bro y’all might as well change y’all names to Security and Special!”
“I don’t know how I’m feeling about this name at all!!” another wrote.
“They caught me off guard with Shine,” someone else admitted.
“Saviour is fine. BUT SECURE!!???…. Jesus take the wheel.”
“You had 9 whole months to think of a name,” another raged.
“Who names their baby Secure?” someone else wondered, while another insisted the tot would definitely change their name when they get older.

Nöel Wolf, linguistic expert Babbel said: “We predict a move towards shorter names, with a playful quality – such as Arlo, or Isla – reflecting the current trend towards minimalism in modern life.
“Names that are traditionally heard as nicknames, such as Freddie or Theo, are making a comeback, signalling a move away from formality.
“Additionally, we will see a rise of nature-inspired names, such as River, Lily, and Ivy. And a trend in recent years that we also expect to continue, is the rise of classical names, for example, Margot, Dorothy, August.”
However, others defended Rissa and Quan over their name choice.
“I actually love it, very different,” one commented.
“Shine, Saviour and Secure, love it!” another added.
“I know most of the people are hating because their names are common and have no meaning,” a third wrote.
“They have always said that they name their children based of their pregnancy experience so don’t be mad!”
“I definitely don’t get the name Secure at all but I have seen worse names,” someone else commented.
“If he wants to and is bothered by his first name he can just go by his middle name like many other people do.”
