MCDONALD’S much-loved Monopoly is back with a bang, with plenty of food, cash and holidays up for grabs.
The annual sticker-collecting competition kicks off in September 2025 — here’s everything you need to know to get your hands on some of the promotional prizes.

When does McDonald’s Monopoly 2025 begin?
McDonald’s Monopoly 2025 officially starts on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Running in every McDonald’s restaurant across the UK, the highly anticipated annual promotion invites customers to participate by purchasing selected food and drink items from the menu.
The game provides a chance to win various prizes through peel-able game pieces attached to qualifying purchases.
Typically lasting around six weeks, the promotion gives players plenty of time to collect and win.
What prizes can be won on McDonald’s Monopoly?
In 2025, McDonald’s Monopoly is offering an extensive range of prizes, with more than a whopping £2million in rewards redeemable.
A number of prizes are up for grabs this year, including a whopping £100,000.
McDonald’s said up to three people are in the running to get their hands on the tidy sum.
You have a chance of getting your hands on the cash by collecting stickers found on McDonald’s food packing, representing train stations or colour-coordinated road names — much like the classic board game.
Around 60 more potential winners could get their hands on £5,000 cash by collecting the symbols.
While a further 90 people have a chance to win a £2,000 Jet2Holiday.
Customers could also win up to £1,000 in cash on the spot by securing an instant win prize — where you simply peel back the sticker and redeem the prize.
There is also plenty of free food to win this way too, including a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder.
McDonald’s Monopoly players also have a chance to win big prizes through its digital peel game.
That includes £100 free cash and £70 off a Jet2 holiday.
But you will need the McDonald’s app to to play.
There’s a QR code on stickers that you can scan to see if you have won a prize.
You can find the McDonald’s app on either the Google Play or App Store on your smart device and it is free to download.

How to play McDonald’s Monopoly 2025?
To play McDonald’s Monopoly 2025, customers need to purchase selected qualifying menu items either in-store, via McDelivery, or through the McDonald’s app.
Qualifying items include popular choices such as the McPlant, McCrispy, McSpicy, Chicken Big Mac, chicken wraps, salads, medium or large fries, soft drinks, McFlurry and various coffees.
When a qualifying item is bought, it comes with peel-able game pieces — or stickers — attached.
These are either “Instant Win” stickers, which provide an immediate prize upon peeling, or “Property Codes”, which can be scanned and collected in the McDonald’s app.
Players aim to collect sets of property codes that correspond to Monopoly properties. Completing a set can win bigger prizes.
Each game piece label contains two game pieces, doubling the chances of winning.
The game also features “Digital Peel” entries that players earn when banking property pieces, offering additional chances for digital prizes.
Only players aged 18 and over can participate.
