POLICE have launched an investigation after a woman was “pulled into an alleyway” and sexually assaulted by a man armed with a blade.
The terrifying incident is alleged to have occurred as the victim was walking home along Saunders Street, Kent yesterday.
Cops said a man is alleged to have pulled her into an alleyway where she suffered a serious sexual assault.
The suspect was reportedly wielding a blade.
He was disturbed by a dog during the harrowing ordeal and fled the scene.
Kent Police are desperately trying to track down the suspect who is described as being black, in his 50s, more than 6ft tall, with black hair that was short at the side and curlier on top.
It is thought he was wearing dark jogging bottoms and dark blue Nike trainers.
Officers raced to the scene after receiving a report of the alleged sexual assault, an investigation into the incident has since been launched.
Kent Police said: “Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam who were in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to check for footage that may assist.
