Woman ‘sexually assaulted’ at venue in infamous city centre party street as cops release CCTV in hunt for man

COPS have issued an urgent CCTV appeal after a woman was allegedly sexually attacked in a city centre.

The attack took place at an outlet in Broad Street in Birmingham, at around 2pm on Saturday, June 14, said the force.

Now, West Midlands Police has issued an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is pictured wearing a beige polo top with a beige, white and navy blue striped collar.

The man also has blonde hair with a short back and sides.

Broad Street is a major thoroughfare and popular nightspot centre in Birmingham.

The infamous party street is in the heart of the city’s pubs, clubs and restaurants area.

In issuing the appeal a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We want to speak to this man after a woman was sexually assaulted in Birmingham.

“It happened at a venue in Broad Street at around 2pm on 14 June.
